      1. Pots & Soil - High quality potting soil is a must! Good soil provides the ideal balance of nutrition, aeration, and water absorption helping plant roots grow. Also, the type of pot does add benefits such as ceramic can absorb water faster which can prevent plants from sitting in soggy soil but may require frequent watering. Glazed ceramic pots does the opposite. Having a glazed ceramic pot can lessen the water times but this all depends more on the plant and not the pot.

This is why it is important to put your plants in the ideal space for their lighting needs. Also, when buying your plant a nursery, double check with a person who works there to get their guidance on lighting for your plant baby

      3. Water, Water, Water - The goal is to provide your plants with enough water to keep the soil moist but not soggy. Every plant is different so research is key to know how much water is needed for your plant.
